It’s Kir Royal time, my dear ðŸµ

Most of my friends are either coffee or tea junkies, and I do have to admit I can’t say no to another cup of coffee no matter how many I’ve had during the day.

Although I enjoy a well brewed black coffee (gosh Riga was great for that) – clear black and strong taste – I do enjoy a lot the mild flavour of a good tea.

It’s just so relaxing to see dried tea leaves and flowers unfold.

And anyway, lose tea look so beautiful in a glass jar compared to coffee 😁.

My recent visit to Amsterdam brought me, by chance, to a wonderful tea shop, which happened to be the smallest house in town as well. Taadaaa.

Side Note: if you happen to visit Amsterdam, please go there and support them. Family business and the owner is such a sweet person 👍.

I bought 50g of Kir Royal and regret not buying more! The tea is fantastic!! I’m so in love with the flavour.

Kir Royal is a blend of red berries, white tea, green tea, lemongrass, lemon myrte, black currant, red rose blossom and sunflower blossom. A light fruity flavour with a note of champagne. Who wouldn’t like it? 😊

The name originated from a cocktail (sparkling white wine with a dash of cassis creme), which suits perfectly as an aperitif, btw.

🍵 How to brew:

  • 1-2 tea spoon per cup
  • Brew with 80-90 degree Celsius water
  • Infuse for 2-3 Minutes

When to enjoy: THE WHOLE DAY 🍵
